School Week 2

Week 2 of our Home School was a busy one. We did the letter "R" this week. I was very impressed at how well Alice is writing. Together with Stitch they went through the junk mail, and cut out everything they saw starting with the letter "R" We had Raspberries for snack one afternoon, and Raisins another. We also talked about what makes animals different, from the way they walk, hop, or slither, to their fur, feathers, or scales. We have mastered counting and identifying all numbers 1-10, we are now working 11-20. :)

Stitch had a great week as well, he designed a tool that he thinks would help Scientist pick up lava rocks after a volcano....he told me all about Volcano's and Lava.....Very interesting....We began long division, and we talked about staying healthy. Exercise and Eating habits, which I am terrible with. :) He also taught me how to find a location using Longitude and Latitude. He is so smart.
