Weekend Project

This weekend Hubby and I decided to tear out all the carpet in the house. We don't have any plans or idea yet on what we are going to put down. We just knew that the carpet had to go.

When we bought the house that was on our list of things to do new flooring. The carpet was ugly and was not put in right. We are thinking wood floors throughout the downstairs, stairs, and upstairs hallway. We are keeping carpet in the bedroomas and plan to eventually put new carpet in the rooms too.

Here are the kids protecting themsleves while King Louie tore up the tile by the front door. The kids were fighting over whos turn it was next to scrape the floor

We will have wood in the hallway for a little while.

There were 2 layers of vinyl flooring under the carpet in the Dining Room....What a PAIN.

This was such a dusty task...poor Hubby got cut several times from flying tile

It took forever to get up.....

The 2 layers of flooring is even under the tile...we decided to keep the tile even though it was done crappy...too much work for now.
