Championship Game

Patriots!!!!! Saturday started our little series of Championship games. Our first game was at 9am. We were a little nervous going into this game as the last time we played this team they beat us 0-7. This team was undefeated and won all their games by a lot. Wow did we play awesome. We ended up tying the game 2-2. There can't be a tie in a game where the next team advances to the next level, so they had a shoot out. Each team chooses 5 players and a goalie. They each get to shoot at the goal, the team who then gets more shots in the goal wins. Stitch was put in as Goalie. He was so nervous. He actually said a quick little prayer that he would have the courage and strength to be the Goalie. Well let me just say he ROCKED it. There were 2 goals that he was not able to stop, and 3 that he did. He also was chosen as one of the players to shoot on goal for his team. He scored. His team ended up scoring 3 points making them the winners.!!!!!!

Our next game was at 2pm. The team we were up against now was not a nice team. We had tied them before 2-2. They just played dirty, a very aggressive team. We did lose that game 0-2, but we as Parents feel that we have the winning team as our kids have sportsmanship. Even though we lost, we have the best team. Way to go Patriots!!!!!!!
